About Me
I'm a certified Coaching Professional who specialises in wellness and self-care. I coach my clients in a way that utilises both their heads and their hearts. I first learned about coaching when I hit a roadblock in my own life and was struggling to move past it. The techniques I developed were so successful that friends and family began asking me for help with their own challenges. This motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a full-time career. Working with a focus on adults of the South Asian Diaspora (individuals from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh) is particularly close to my heart. My work includes successfully facilitating a women's wellness group for those who have navigated a multicultural experience, which commonly includes those who are Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi speakers. My familiarity of both the language and culture assists me in my desire to practice here, the emphasis is in recognising the need for people to have a therapist who truly understands their background and can create safety in talking about parts of the culture that can feel shameful or misunderstood from a Western perspective. If you have any questions about my methods, or would like to schedule a consultation, please get in touch today.
